Sportive holiday makers can make beautiful cycling and hiking tours along the 250km long Canal du Midi with many aqueducts on towpaths along ancient waterways, which starts at Toulouse and ends into the sea at Sète. And if you do not want to stay in France for a day, you can easily make a daytrip to neighbouring Spain or the Principality of Andorra. With the car you can easily the villas in Languedoc-Roussillon, but you can also fly to Montpellier or Girona in Spain.
